Feed The Pig

Bella has been working very hard on school things this week. She has been very excited to show Momma and Daddy her hard work! She is very ready for school!

Bella has turned out to be a big "The Blacklist" fan! She likes it when she spends the night on Thursday's so she can watch it. Last night she was really getting tired and knew she was not going to make it to the end of the show...so she curled up on my lap, closed her eyes and said "tell me how Blacklist ends!".  First thing this morning she asked.."how did Blacklist end?"  Love it!

We made a piggy bank out of a milk carton several weeks ago. When I find spare change around the house I feed her pig. Bella earns money for helping me around the house, too.  If I have to do work in the office she will help stuff envelopes, stamp the envelopes and seals them up. She loves to help empty the dishwasher and washing the sink! She will help make the bed and sweep the floor. So when she willingly decides it's time to wash the sink or sweep she grabs her stool or broom and goes to work! Of course Grammy always feeds the pig!!

Just give her a spoon and a jar of Nutella and she's happy!

Thank you Angie (Ty's mommy)for allowing us to use your words to express all of our feelings.

Worth Every Minute

Sometimes you just turn her loose with all her make-up and let her go to town on you!
Sometimes it takes half a jar of make-up remover to get it off! LOL!!
Sometimes it's these moments that create some of the best memories!

Sometimes you end up looking like a walking dead zombie...
and you know what???  It's worth it!

Crotches

Super Bowl day!
Super Bowl Sunday came and went! Great game...we all ended up cheering for Denver.

I decided it was time to get serious (again) about getting back into my workouts...Bella is a great motivator! She loves doing her push ups and jumping jacks and of course running. So she is whipping me back into shape again! Go Bella!!

On a funny side note...driving home with her...
"Grammy did you know Gannon has crotches?"
(Crotches???)
"Yes! Crotches!" (Okay! Crotches??) "He borrowed Meme's crotches! He hurt his ankle!" (OHHHH...Crutches!!)  "Yes..someone hurt his ankle playing basketballs"  LOL!  Sometimes it takes Grammy a couple tries to figure out things!

Heartbroken

Bella's heart broke today..."Grammy..my heart is broken and I am so sad. I just can't talk about it right now because I am so sad and I can't stop crying."  (It's going to be okay).."No, Grammy it's not."
....Dave scratched her leg...  She was standing outside petting him and he did what cat's do when they go into crazy mode..he grabbed her leg and tried biting her ankle... she did nothing to him to warrant it...it's just a crazy cat move they do...she stood there with shock all over her face... I immediately "removed" Dave from the area. The scratch is tiny, but the impact was huge.  Her tears flowed..."Why did he do that, Grammy? I love him! Why did he hurt me? I don't want to see him anymore, Grammy. He broke my heart. I love him and he should not have hurt me. Oh, Grammy my heart hurts.. I can't talk about this right now."
Bless her heart. I wanted to cry along with her. She was mad at me for my instant reaction and removal of him, mad at herself.."I was bad if he hurt me."...which I immediately corrected telling her she was NOT to blame..sad because she loves him and doesn't want to see him now, sad because she was just "sad now".

After...this is what "heartbroken" looks like
Before
Sometimes it is hard to be four years old.
