For some reason this was such a long week waiting for Thursday!! Guess I was really needing my Bella fix!
Today was Padame, Kylo Ren, Darth Vadar kind-of-a-day! Bella was very excited to wear her Padame costume. So we hunted Storm Troopers and bad guys. She was an excellent shot with her mini-blaster. "Watch how I do this, Grammy! I aim and then I shoot them in the middle! They can't get away from me!" (That's good because I certainly don't need Storm Troopers and bad guys wandering around in my house!) "I got them all for you, Grammy!" (Thank you, Monkey!)

Today we rocked out to Eric Johnson's "White Cliffs of Dover", Humble Pie's "I Don't Need No Doctor", AC/DC's "Back in Black"...jumping around playing air guitars and drums. Still dressed as Kylo Ren, of course..."Kylo Ren can rock out, Grammy!" (Yes he can!) "Watch this!" (as she jumped up and down and shaking her bobo) We danced and laughed until our sides hurt!
Danny called today.."Uncle DanDan I have on Kylo Ren's costume!" The two of them had a great little conversation. Danny was heading for an audition..Bella actually isn't a fan of him being in commercials or being on TV. She doesn't want him on TV..she wants him home. After their conversation was over and it was nap time she got very teary eyed and soon the tears were streaming down her face..not because she was having to take a nap...(Why are you crying, BellaBeans?) "Grammy, I miss Uncle DanDan." (I miss him, too, Sweetie.) "Grammy Uncle DanDan is my best friend. He plays with me and makes me laugh when I don't want to laugh." (He is good at that isn't he?) "He made me not be shy and I miss him so much. He plays with me and hunts bad guys. Now I have to hunt bad guys with you, Grammy. I love you Grammy but I really miss Uncle DanDan." Patting her back (I love you, too. And he will be back.You can always call him on the phone or do FaceTime with him)"I don't want to see him that way I want to have him here. I love Uncle DanDan!" (Well it's better then not getting to see him at all.) "Grammy why does he have to live far, far away?" "Why can't he live here?"(Because that is where his work is.) "I miss when Pappy goes out of town to work" "Why did PaPa have to go to work today. I want to see PaPa." "Daddy and Momma are at work too" (It seems like everyone works.) "Grammy?..(yes) Don't work okay?" (Okay) "Can you wipe my tears away, Grammy?"....and so it went until she cried herself to sleep. I just held her. It was one of those moments.
She was fine when she woke up almost three hours later ... ready to head home and show Momma and Daddy her Padame costume and mini-blaster. She is growing up so fast.
Dave and Bella finally met. She's in love! Of course the only reason he comes around is because of her and because he loves her! LOL! She couldn't wait to see him this morning. She has a new friend!.
Bella and I went to see "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" again. It was her third time to see it and my second time...and yes we would both go see it again!! Love that movie! We picked up lunch before the show and munched on fries during the movie. She is such a cool movie date! Of course she dressed as "Rey" before going!!

Our first adventure day for 2016..we headed to the Aquarium. We made it in time for the feeding of the otters and beavers. On our drive to the Aquarium we discussed the various fish, mammals, etc., that live there. We talked about what they ate, what type of "world" they lived in, etc. We talked about the beavers teeth (and how they grow continually). She wondered what the fish ate..she knew the stingrays ate shrimp but she didn't know what the fish ate. I suggested she ask when we got there. So big girl that she is, she asked the lady when we got to the stingray tank.."Excuse me, but what do you feed your fish, please?" The lady explained to her that they ate shrimp and dry food, and sometimes pieces of fish. At the beaver exhibit the lady discussed the beaver teeth..leaning over to me Bella whispered.."Grammy, she's talking about their teeth like we did!" I was so proud of her for remembering what we had discussed! She wants to go again soon..I have no problem with that!
